Hello people!
This one is from the children of Grade 1 and 2. Not to be outdone by their seniors at school, this newsletter has everything you need to forget your worries :)
To be honest, dreaming up fun stuff isn’t such a bad idea given the current times :|
Alright, let’s get started!
First up, time for an animated story. Here is a video about Little Bunny Foo Abirami made using Powtoon.
Now time for another video, this time by Mudit. Mudit is resident beyblade expert at Jigyasa. Truth be told, he’s been telling me about beyblades since before school shut in March, and I’ve only just realised these are the spinning things he was referring to!
Sriram is an artist and his latest creation is a beautiful drawing of sea creatures. Can you guess what they are?
He also composed a poem about life during COVID, complete with his own illustrations!
Like most of us, Aadhya has been perfecting her baking skills over the last few months. Here she is, with her chocolate cake recipe!
Rhea is a bug lover and here she is with an essay and a few drawings of her favourite bugs!
Aadhya always has a joke or two up her sleeve. Here she is with three more!
Siddhant’s Independence Day activities were not as elaborate as usual, but he still managed to enjoy the day and also help people out.
Neel is a Scratch aficionado and spends considerable amounts of time tinkering with his projects. Here is his latest project - the flying dinosaur screams when it comes to close to the other dino.
Neel’s project can be accessed here.
Krriti has been innovating with painting styles and came up with this beautiful work of layered art.
And a painting of a broken rock:
Kavin has done something very few of us have done - he has gone to Disneyland in three different cities! Here he is with a write up about why he likes Disneyland so much.
Every now and then, we do a topic at school that completely takes over the imagination of a child. We studied about volcanoes and rocks before term closed, and Tanay has been fascinated by these ancient marvels of nature ever since. He’s made a video to share his knowledge with you.
While we're on the subject of marvels of nature, Aiden has been fascinated by space for a while now. He saw a documentary about Mission Cassini - NASA’s attempt to understand Saturn better. Here, he shares all that he knows about the mission in this informative video.
With Ganesh Chaturthi around the corner, Nidhi has recorded a video to tell you more about Lord Ganesha and to show you how she celebrates the festival!
And finally, there is no better way to end a newsletter than with a dance! Here is Aanya - ever graceful and expressive!
Well, that’s it from here folks.
We hope you have really enjoyed Ep 2 of the newsletter. As usual, do send us your comments - we love going through the comments in class the next day!
Stay safe and stay home.
Until the next one,
Ryan
